Studio Time and Pretzels. [Sep. 16th, 2008|06:48 pm]
[Streets of London , on her way to a ballet studio]
[Anyone]
[Late Afternoon]

Dressed down in a zip-up hoodie, a black leotard, and some sweatpants, Lisa walked down the street with her bag slung over her shoulders. She smiled to herself, excited to be heading off to the studio to get some dancing in. It had been a while since she'd gotten busy and all.

Humming to herself, the Ravenclaw stopped at a little pretzel stand and bought herself a plain one with a side of strawberry cream cheese. "Thank you, sir!" she chirped, grinning brightly before going on her way once more.

Good Deed. [Aug. 11th, 2008|08:32 pm]
[Diagon Alley]
[Anyone]
[Early Evening]

I did a good deed. I did a good deed. I did, and...and a little girl or two are going to be so esctatic, and that feels good. Because I did a good deed. *is fidgeting anxiously with her bracelet*

...It's not so bad. *shaky chuckle* Mum will like it. I like it too. I do. I like it, and I feel...lighter. *runs her fingers through her hair* It'll be easy to deal with, at least. Won't have to worry about all those, all those knots and what not. *stops in the middle of the crowd and breathes deeply*

I did a good deed. And I am happy. *keeps on walking*

Mrs. Pope, Ron, and Letter Writing. [Apr. 6th, 2008|09:10 pm]
[Hogsmeade]
[Anyone]
[Mid-Afternoon]

Lisa sat outside of a small café, nibbling on the tip of her sugarquill as her eyes stared thoughtfully at her blank piece of paper. Her sixth piece of paper. The other five had met their fate and were scattered everywhere on the table, crumpled up and useless. "Dear Ron..." she murmured as she started to write, "How've you been? I've been thinking about you. A lot, to be honest. I don't know, I see that old woman you used tell me about a lot. Mrs. Pope? Anyway, everytime I see her, I think of yo-" Lisa scrunched up her nose and scribbled out her sentence. With a sigh, she sat her quill down and leaned back against her chair and shifted her eyes to the passerby hurrying to get from under the light mix of snow and rain. "Everytime I see old lady Mrs. Pope, I think of you? Honestly, Lisa?" She shook her head and couldn't help but chuckle at herself. Who knew that writing a simple letter to someone she missed would be so difficult?

Steak Testing. [Mar. 29th, 2008|02:02 pm]
[Flat]
[Anyone, ATTN: Fred and George]
[Late Afternoon]

Lisa had received an owl from Alicia that the twins would be coming, as planned. The former Ravenclaw had spent all day working on these steaks, wanting them just right. It was exciting, she was quite pleased to see that each one had turned out just how she wanted them to. The twins would have quite a variety to choose from!

"Vai, you can't have any, I'm sorry. I promise to get you some treats, though!" she said to the small dog. He looked up at her with wide chocolate brown eyes and stood on his hind legs, adding to the begging act by whimpering pleadingly. Lisa chuckled softly as she set down each plate nicely on the table. "No, Vai, these are for the twins."

Vai gave up and scurried off into the room, probably to go pout and take his anger out on his cat-friend, TC. Lisa made sure everything was aligned just right before heading into the kitchen. She pulled off her apron and pulled the annoying ribbon out of hair and let her locks fall. Oh, how she hated keeping her hair up. They'd be here soon, she thought as she started cleaning around the kitchen while she waited.

Papaya. [Mar. 27th, 2008|10:47 pm]
[Grocery Store in Diagon Alley]
[Anyone]
[Mid-Morning - Friday]

*grins to the grocer in the fruit produce section* I can't even begin to tell you how bright you've made my day. It's so hard to find papaya!

*grocer smiles* Well you'll always luck out, here. Fresh imports from the finest parts of the Americas, ma'am. *tips his hat*

You'll definitely be seeing me around more, sir!

Then I consider myself to be quite the lucky old man. *smiles*

*giggles* Good day, sir! And thank you!

*grocer nods and goes back to stacking apples*

*Lisa adjusts the many bags she has on her arms* Now that I've got a tenderizer...oh! *hurries over to the seasoning sections and starts looking at those*

You're Fired. Sorry!!! [Feb. 4th, 2008|03:50 pm]
[Hogsmeade]
[Anyone]
[Late Morning - early afternoon.]

"Well, Lisa dear, darling, love, sweetie pie...baby doll, sweet cheeks, sunshine, FLOWER CHILD!" Flower child? "It truly breaks my heart to be doing this, but it's just that, well, I've found somebody else. Someone more...appealing. More appealing??? "Believe me, you're such a beautiful young woman, so vibrant and joyful, and optimistic and...I just see so much of you in me. But...I've found someone else. A young woman who...well, she is me! A younger me! Surely you understand? She's my...my prophecy. Her prophecy. Right. "I don't want you to be upset about this, but it's better for the business. A new, fresh face, someone who represents me," oh, that little candycane represents you alright, "and my business! And she is it! You were fun, and you've done so much for the café and believe me when I say I can't thank you enough. Your last paycheck will be ready for pick-up next week. Love you! Mwah!" Oh, shove that piece of rubbish talk up your ancient jurassic ar-

And that was it. Lisa had been fired earlier that morning. Why? Well, apparently she wasn't appealing enough. Oh yes, let’s ignore the fact that for the past month or two she had been working overtime when the other girls repeatedly called in sick. Let’s forget that put in an extra 100% into everything she did for that place! Oh! Let’s forget that she did dealt with every single tiff cranky customers would have amongst each other as well as the waitresses during rush hour. That was a pain! But none of that mattered because Lisa wasn’t appealing enough. The nerve. But Lisa wasn’t too upset about it, despite how irrational the whole thing was. She was just incredibly bummed out that she was fired so unexpectedly. She didn’t want to tell Mandy, yet. Not until she found another job, at least. Stepping out of a random café with a cup of hot chocolate, Lisa sighed softly and headed down the street

Take-Out! [Jan. 14th, 2008|10:39 pm]
[Mandy/Lisa Flat]
[Anyone!!!!!1!1!111!1!!!!]
[About 7:30pm - Jan 14]

Work was an absolutely pain today. Lisa wasn't sure why, but it was hectic rush hour at Puddifoot's from the time she got there (which was about eight in the morning), to the time she left...which was about now. She worked overtime today, and because she and another girl were the only ones working, Puddifoot gave them the next two days off. Free time!

Lisa had walked in the kitchen with two plastic bags. "I got take-out, Mandy, if you're hungry! Oh! And if you're here!" she called out to her good friend and roomie. She stopped at an Italian restaurant before she came home and brought home pasta, salad, and hot fudge brownies that she made at the café for dessert. Setting the contents on the counter, she grinned and immediately ran into her room to change into comfortable lounge clothes. Oh, how she couldn't wait to plop on the couch and rest.
